I always have a little mooch around the quaint towns surrounding my Mum’s home when I’m there. It’s surprising what you can find. I’ve a had a few charity shop bargains but a few clothing gems too! Last weekend I returned home with these beautiful bags!
Please let me introduce you to Scottish company Powder. The shop I was in had a lovely range of socks which was the first thing that caught my eye. I could imagine myself snuggled up in my PJs in a pair, or perhaps donning a pair with a denim skirt and heading out in the Winter sunshine… The quality is lovely and I adore the packaging. I bought a pair for a friend’s birthday and she was delighted with them.
I treated myself to a new scarf. It was a purchase that was on the cards anyway and this lovely chunky mustard and purple beauty feels and looks delicious. I like the little button detail and love these infinity (looped) scarves – they’re just so cosy! As I’m sure I’ve mentioned about a million times, I walk to and from work, so a good winter coat and a thick scarf are essential for me!
I totally fell in love with (but didn’t buy) this gorgeous hat. However I’ve been sort of haunted by it ever since… Does that mean I should buy it? It’s one of many I would happily be seen out and about in this autumn – go and see the whole range, they’re a delight. More than a little vintage inspired I think you’ll agree!
Anyway, do check out their website www.powder-uk.com and see if any of their things could make their way onto your Christmas list. I know they’ll be on mine!
It is with an continually extending Christmas list I say:
It’s only vintage but I like it!
